About Us
We are a seasonal coliving and retreat venue located in mid-Devon just 2 hours from London Paddington.
Selgars is family run estate that is owned by Anton and Morgane who live onsite in one of the cottages. We don’t think of Selgars as a hotel, but rather our home that we share with colivers and guests.
Something incredible, perhaps even magical, takes place when we decide to gather in nature. We slow down, we open up and we begin to feel more connected and grounded to ourselves and with each other. New emotions, new ideas and new energy for change emerges. This is why we do what we do.
Our estate is small in size, but it is overflowing with big dreams and creative energy. From May until early October we operate as a retreat venue. From early October until the end of April Selgars becomes a coliving community. We can host up to 50 retreat guests and 20 coliving residents.
We place imagination, wellness & regeneration at the heart of all we do. We have an edible garden on site and seek to source our food from delicious local producers. We also have a sauna and cold dip as well as plenty of yoga mats and gym equipment. Our land is surrounded by water with bridges, woodlands, event fields, multiple fire circles and spaces for ritual and reflection such as our bamboo water temple, the enchanted portals and our gazebo hammock. We are excited to welcome you to our home.
