Flying into the UK? The closest airport is Bristol. It will take you about 2h by bus/train to get to Tiverton Parkway station which is our station (See By Train). It might be easier to find a flight to London airport. In that case, you can go to Paddington Station in London and get a direct train to Tiverton Parkway (2h).
by car: This is where we are We have parking available on site.
by train: The station is called Tiverton Parkway From London it is a 2h train right from Paddington station, stopping at Tiverton Parkway. We recommend using https://www.thetrainline.com/ to book your ticket, however, GWR sometimes has cheaper options.
WALKING FROM THE STATION
From the station, it is a 45-minute walk, a 15-minute cycle, or a 7-minute drive.
IF YOU ARE WALKING OR CYCLING, DO NOT TRUST GOOGLE MAP! Google Maps is misleading and will tell you it takes more than 1h. Follow these instructions instead:
As soon as you get off the train, instead of taking the over-track bridge to reach the station, walk down the walking path following the tracks.
It will eventually take you to a bridge crossing the highway. Keep going “along” the highway on the other side.
When the walking path ends, you reach a junction. Take a sharp left and follow that road (Muxbeare Lane) to a big road (B3181).
Turn left on the walking path alongside it until you reach the end of it, and it makes you cross the big road.
Cross and take the road on your right that is going left, Hitchocks Lane.
Follow that road until the end, cross one last road (Uffculme Road), and we are straight ahead! You should see our signs.

There is also a bus. It is number 373, which goes from the Tiverton Parkway station to Langlay Business Park**, the closest stop to Selgars** (about a 7-minute walk along the road). Getting Around
We can totally do it all by walking! That is what we do.
We also have a cargo bike we are happy to lend.
Having a car is always great if you plan to stay longer and want to explore the area. At this time, we are not able to organize trips in our own car (mostly because we cannot drive). We hope to change that in the future. We can all share a cab if we decide to go somewhere or work out those legs of ours.
🏃🏽 If you don’t mind walking, you can also walk to the station and take the train to the different towns/cities connected with the line passing through Tiverton, such as London, Bristol (45 min ride between 7 and 30 pounds 1 way depending on day and time)
Cylcling We are on National Cycle Route 3. Tiverton Parkway station a 15 minute cycle ride away. The route connects to the Grand Western Canal which is a cycle path and can be taken into Tiverton. Bikes can be hired from Abbotswood Cycle Hire at The Globe Inn, Sampford Peverall, on the canal.
You are welcome to bring your bikes - we can advise where they can be locked up under cover.
We have a cool electrical cargo bike we are happy to lend but it cannot be left at the station.
